The King of Rock n' Roll, Elvis Presley

Birth and relationships:
Elvis Aaron Presley was born January 8, 1935 in East Tupelo, Mississippi to Vernon Presley and Gladys Love Smith. He was the youngest brother. His older brother was Jesse Garon Presley. He married Priscilla Beaulieu on May 1, 1967 then five years later on August 18, 1972 files for divorce. He had one daughter, Lisa Marie, who was born February 1, 1968.
Childhood, Interests & Hobbies:

Elvis was always shy and close to his uncle Vester Presley. When he was 13 years old, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee. His family was close by working hard and going to church every Sunday. Because he grew up poor, Elvis never let anyone even his closest friends into his house only outside. Elvis loved to play football when he was younger. When he got older he loved motorcycles and dirt bikes.


Career & Reason For Fame:
Elvis is famous for being "The King of Rock n' Roll". He is also famous for his acting career. He is an idol before and even after his death. Elvis had change the sound of music. Elvis started his career by standing outside Sunset Studio just asking if he could record a song for his mom. The producers liked his style and said how he had a special voice. After getting a call back, the producers tried to find the musical style that would best fit his personality. He picked up a guitar and started to play, soon other producers picked up an instrument and played along. After awhile they started playing with the sound and made rock n' roll.
Elvis Presley is famous for his music, new genre of music, his acting career, and his personality. Everybody then and today loves and adores Elvis. People today are still fans and ways will be because he's a legend. 

Death:
Elvis was found in state of collapse in his bathroom on August 8, 1977. After being rushed to Baptist Memorial Hospital he never recovers consciousness and at 3:30 pm he was pronounced dead. He was 42.
